How Little Red Got Her Groove On

Little Red Riding Hood is in its 24th year!

The ride’s founder, Alice Telford, was inspired by the Cinderella Classic Ride in Alameda County, CA. When Alice started Little Red there were just 25 women riding that first year. With the support of the Bonneville Cycling Club, Little Red has grown steadily since then with 2000+  riders and hundreds of volunteers  participating each year!

The Little Red route winds through the beautiful countryside of northern Utah, in an area called Cache Valley. It offers a flat course for shorter distances and a few gently rolling hills on longer routes. In years past, Little Red started in Wellsville, Utah but in 2010 the event was moved to Lewiston, a town 19 miles north of Logan.
